Maq ID is the innovation center of Maqmóveis group. It houses a team of multidisciplinary and talented people who create, develop and produce furniture with a signed design, to meet the customization requirements of distinguished environments, along with exclusive, on demand projects.
The designers who collaborate in the Maq ID hub rely on the assumption of innovation, by combining form and function, meticulous choice of materials and high manufacturing technology as the key attributes for the creation of unique pieces.
The Floresta line, composed by furniture in steel, with Marcelo Rosenbaum and Fetiche Studio signature, and the Jataí school line in wood and steel, by José Machado and Luciana Sobral from Novidário, are references of design projects that are developed and produced on a large scale by Maqmóveis.
In constant evolution, Maq ID is, first of all, the identity of Maqmóveis group. It represents the expertise of a solid trajectory in furniture manufacturing, combined with a genuine desire to transform contemporary environments; particularly those where teaching and work take place, with innovation, design and functionality.
With 20 years of experience in the retail market and in industrial scale furniture production, José Machado coordinates, creates, develops and manages the production of innovative products, designed for the contemporary reality of living, working and learning. Along with architect and designer Luciana Sobral, they head the Novidário studio – where Luciana is in charge of conceptualizing space and furniture for renowned teaching institutions in the city of São Paulo. Novidário signs the Jataí line for Maqmóveis.
Established by architect Marcelo Rosenbaum, Rosenbaum® is a design, architecture and innovation office, which provides visibility to Brazil's cultural diversity, and values the essential knowledge of local cultures, by means of design and the strengthening of creative economy – an action line that has already won several design awards in Brazil and the world.
The Fetiche studio, by designers Carolina Armellini and Paulo Biacchi, was created with the intention of showing novelties, through free creation and production. The concept of fetishism is intrinsic to the design pieces they develop, looking for references and meanings beyond formal and functional goals. The Rosenbaum and Fetiche studio sign the Floresta line of concept furniture for Maqmóveis group.
Heading the eDesign Studio, Everaldo Rodrigues is a designer and furniture expert from Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy. His creations seek a balance between classic design and the best technological, production and market aspects. He has projects selected and awarded in contests such as Movelsul, Casa Brasil, Bienal Brasileira de Design, Movelpar and Móvel Brasil, among others. The eDesign studio signs the Studio and Connect lines for Maqmóveis.
